A beautiful rare flowery broken orange pekoe tea with well twisted delicate tips carefully fused with bergamot from Switzerland. Each box contains 100 string and tagged tea bags. This is a 100% Fairtrade product.The Birchall product is made by Imporient and is sourced from their own plantation located above Lake Kivu and below the Nyiragongo volcano. This equatorial region's altitude of 1460-4500 metres above sea level, high rainfall and rich volcanic soil provide perfect conditions for growing tea of unparalleled flavour. This tea is hand picked to ensure quality.It's a little known fact that most tea bags contains plastics. Birchall's popular tagged tea bags are instead made from a blend of Abaca and other cellulosic fibres and are therefore plastic free.
