Description
What is the difference between trainer pads and clinical pads?
The electrode pads for training are similar to the electrode pads used on a clinical AED machine, however, their external dimensions and materials are different and cannot conduct current.
These pads are suitable for repeated use if well-maintained and are safe for training sessions as they will not administer a shock.
Key Features & Benefits
ò Reusable and durable: Withstands multiple training sessions. Simply clean and store them properly after each use to extend their lifespan.
ò Realistic design: Designed to closely mimic the look, feel, and placement of real AED pads, these trainer pads provide a true-to-life training experience.
ò Safe for training: Made specifically for non-clinical use, these pads do not deliver any electrical shock and are completely safe for learners of all ages.
ò Strong adhesive: Each pad uses high-quality, reusable adhesive that sticks securely to manikin surfaces without slipping during training. The adhesive maintains its stickiness across multiple uses and won't leave residue behind.
ò Easy to use: Clearly marked pad graphics and anatomical guides help learners quickly understand where and how to place the pads on a manikin, supporting proper technique and consistent practice.
ò Cost-effective: Long-lasting and reduces replacement frequency.
Pad Maintenance
To ensure the pads remain in good condition there are certain measures that should be followed:
ò Pads must be kept clean to avoid dust, oily substances, sticky articles and other contaminants, otherwise, pads viscosity will decline.
ò Stick the pads to their original covers rather than to other articles randomly.
ò When pads viscosity declines due to contamination, clean directly with a small amount of water slightly, which viscosity will be recovered temporarily after being fully dried. If too much water is used for cleaning, pads viscosity will decline.
ò Do not wipe the sticky surface with tissue or cloth.
ò Do not scrape the sticky surface with nails or brushes.
ò Do not wash pads frequently and do not clean pads with cleaning agent or hot water.
ò Keep the pads away from direct sunlight, high temperature, moisture, dust and corrosive gas.
Please note: These training pads are for training use only and should not be used with a real clinical AED.
