Description
This tourniquet has a dual locking mechanism to prevent loosing pressure and any slipping that may occur once it is in place, this is through the windlass's retaining clip and the velcro fastening.
For easier and quicker leg applications, the TMT Tourniquet Civilian Model (Orange) has a speed buckle, so that you can clip it above the wound then tighten without first having to maneuver the tourniquet up the limb.
A time tag is sewn on to the strap where you can write down the time the tourniquet was applied, so that it is easier to pass on information to the emergency services when they arrive.
